  • The content in our Classical Matwork Program is the foundational material that underpins the Pilates System, which includes, but is not limited to, the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Trapeze Table and Ladder Barrel. By learning the movement skills that foster stability and strength, you not only improve your practice, but you set yourself up for success with your clients. This course is a prerequisite for taking the Comprehensive Teacher Training.

  • The Classical Matwork Training is a 220-hour Program Intensive and takes approximately 3-6 months to complete in full. Full completion is awarded with a Certificate; however, you will also be prepared to complete the NPCP-PMC exam. Successful candidates will be Nationally Certified Mat Pilates Teachers with a clear understanding of Contrology, Pilates teaching principles and philosophy.

  • The Classical Matwork Teacher Training Program is a blend of online and in-person learning. In-person learning will be scheduled on specific weekends, one month apart, in 3-day blocks.   • A Certificate is a non-degree granting, vocational training program, that awards certificates or diplomas to students who have completed and passed the required final assessments. Upon successful completion of our Mat Program, you will receive a Certificate. *We also offer a Certificate with Distinction to those who excel in their dedication to learning and their self-practice.

    A Certification validates an individual’s competency through a third-party assessment system. Our program is designed to help you successfully obtain your NCPC Certification.
